Our Video Editing and Videography Services

Hugo and Clay Productions don’t just make fantastic documentaries about people’s lives. We also have video editing and videography services!

Having spent a good part of his working life in the charity sector gave our founder Ewan an understanding of those specific organisations needs. He’s also a music bore, so also was very happy to film promotional music videos, as he has done for Omar the Lion Queen, and helped start-up businesses get striking material to promote!

His Digital Film Production degree, in which he achieved first-class honours in 2023 with (ooh get ‘im!) did not just qualify him to use a camera. He has overseen editing in all of his films and frequently is required to take on video editing commissions, using Adobe packages to give existing Zoom footage a zhoosh (is that even a word?) and add the technical magic for dynamic promotions, altering footage into verticals for platforms such as Instagram where necessary.

Ewan is also a driver with own access to his car and from time to time, has worked as Assistant Director/Runner and even research duties, so may be help your production. He also has been trained in Blackmagic, DSLR and Sony FX-6 operation.
